Blooming marvellous.

Today was our annual Alpine Garden Show in Kendal.
This is a combined show with the Scottish Rock Garden Club.

The photo above is of a prize winning Hepatica. One of my favourite Alpine species which has many different colours and forms.

The extras show one or two of the amazing plants on show and a general view of just a small part of the show hall.

Of course there were sales stalls by ten specialist alpine nurseries and as usual we succumbed to a tray full of treasures to bring home.
Also did our bit manning the entrance desk for an hour and winning a raffle prize.
