Science Centre Tower
The sky was blue, the sun was shining, it was bitterly cold and I was wearing six layers ... anymore and I wouldn't have been able to move!
At 127 metres high the Glasgow Tower is the tallest freestanding building in Scotland. I have been to the top once ..... an amazing experience.
In the distance you can see The Waverley, the last sea going paddle steamer in the world. Her first voyage was in 1947. Today she makes passenger excursions from various British ports. During the summer months she is based on the Clyde and then in September and October she cruises the Bristol Channel, the Solent and the Thames.
