The background...

...for yesterday’s daffodil blip photo.

It had been a ripped canvas within a set of four I bought. I couldn’t be bothered returning it, so I glued material over the rip. Then I scrunched tissue paper up and pasted it to the canvas. Then painted yellows, oranges, and reds. Then I got some metallic gold and rubbed that in when it was dry.

And this was the result. It was nothing intentional, but I liked it!

I will enter this for admirer’s Silly Saturday Challenge, because it was a silly idea. But it worked and I didn’t waste the torn canvas.
