At Last!

After a week of solid cloud, rain, mist and fog it finally lifted this afternoon to reveal a blue sky above - and yes - the sun as well.

At 5pm, I set off to the seafront bit disappointingly, the fog bank was still offshore and the sun had disappeared behing it by 5:30.

I had been hoping for an aerial display by a murmuration of starlings - couple of hundred or so turned up but nothing spectacular from them so I am offering you all this view of Brighton's West Pier, or what remains of it, in the sunset.
