A full Saturday

A bitter cold day. I had planned to cut the front hedge this morning but it was just too cold, so I did some report writing in my warm study instead.  M came for lunch, which was nice, and the afternoon was given over to watching the rugby until we were hoarse!  Lovely dinner with J and A with lots of craic.  The tulips opened as soon as they were in the vase, but the leaves are drooping already.
