Clove

A brief visit to the allotment today to plant the garlic. It was fairly dry weather, so I thought it was worth the risk...
It's probably not too clear from this, but the bulbs we had been sent were enormous, and only consisted of six or seven giant cloves each (it's Early Purple Wight).
I also chopped down a Hebe bush that was growing beside the shed, it was getting in the way and encroaching on the allotment path. It will be missed by the bees, who loved its early white flowers.
