Male Reed Bunting in the Snow

It had been snowing in the night and continued to snow on and off all day. It would have been nice to stay indoors, but I had to go to Bishop’s Stortford to host a Mensa meeting. The snow provided a good excuse for me to go on the train. The train is also cheaper than the car park fee when only one person is travelling. Due to the weather, no one else arrived, so I went home early.

Today’s picture was taken before I went out. It is a male Reed Bunting, eating from the feeders with the snow coming down.
