The Moon's a Balloon

We took Gavin to the doctors surgery today to get his flu jab of the nurse and I was teasing him on the way down about how sore it would be and how his arm would be aching afterwards, but Gavin being Gavin he wasn't phased.

Then, when we got in there the nurse said that Cheryl and I should get the flu jag too because he needs our care so we wouldn't be much use to Gavin if we had the flu. Gavin didn't half get his own back when I was getting my jag (serves me right). My arm is still a wee bit sore but nothing I cant handle.

Hayley was home this afternoon for a visit and she was getting her hair cut so we had a good natter. After taking Hayley back to her flat at tea time, the sun was shining but there was only about 1 hour of daylight left.

When I returned home I noticed the moon was out and was quite low in the sky so I took a few shots of it, some with trees as a border but the one I liked the best was this close up. It looks like a helium balloon that has been up since a birthday and this is how it looks three weeks later (slightly deflated) so, you could say tonight the moon's a balloon.
