Staring Intently
This course of study which I have embarked upon is sure taking up a whole lot of time. Tonight has been taken away from me with preparatory work for tomorrow's evaluation test where we each have to take a subject and deliver a training module on it before a video camera. I needn't add that I have chosen as my subject the resizing of a photograph in Photoshop. That's the easy part. The difficult bit is getting all the backup paperwork done in accordance with all the guidelines laid down by the third level education system. I haven't said that the course itself is popularly known as "Train the Trainer" and qualifies the successful candidate as a certified trainer for industry etc.
Matters are not made any better by the fact that I am streaming with a head cold. Could have done without that. All I need now is for my voice to vanish overnight!!
Next stage will be to write up my dissertation which must be submitted by November 23rd but first comes our holiday in Paris next week. I should be able to get back here tomorrow night and again on Friday. Then it's away with us and back blipping when we get back on November 4th.
During lunch break today I was sitting in the car at the harbour, texting a farewell to my youngest daughter who flew out from Dublin bound for South America this afternoon and wondering what to blip, when I spied this guy staring intently at something or other. I didn't see anything unusual or remarkable but he stayed in position long enough for me to blast off three quick frames. Perhaps he was wondering what I was up to, or maybe just thinking about the state of the economy but whatever it was I couldn't resist the fixed gaze in his eyes.
See you guys just as soon as I can.
