Wintry!

The plan today was to go over to Castleford to watch Wigan Warriors play them in this weeks' round of Superleague. But the snow which began falling yesterday put paid to that, with the match being postponed this morning. I can't say I'm too sorry. Much as I was looking forward to watching the game, I wasn't keen on the idea of standing on the old, crumbling concrete terrace at Cas. It is completely open to the elements on all sides and would have been freezing! The tickets will go in a safe place until the rearranged fixture is announced!

So instead we've stayed at home and done next to nothing! Much Simon's Cat has been played! And we did have a walk to the nearer Tesco for food. I wanted to make chilli tonight and bought red beans and tomatoes...but forgot minced beef! Doh! The Co-op has none either! So a change of plan is in order!
