Fruit Bowl (SLS17)
After yesterday's trip to the NEC we woke to snow and embarked on a clean the house, empty the ironing basket morning ... such an exciting life!
A quick trip to Compton Verney this afternoon to see the Ravilious and Friends exhibition which was interesting and one we will be visiting again. Eric Ravilious was a student at the Royal College of Art in the early 20s and went on with a group of friends to mix commercial work bringing art into industrial design, with more conventional gallery based art works. Sadly, he was lost in the war, leaving a four year old son James who went on to be a photographer documenting the way rural life was changing in the 1970s and 80s.
My blip is our fruit bowl, strategically placed to remind me to take some to work rather than going to the vending machine of shame :-)
