Oh it is bitter today. We spent most part of the day emptying and disposing of all the things in Mr PBs mums room. There were a few moments that I found it hard, but we got on with it. The staff seemed as shocked as us. The day before Pam died she had been knitting and chatting at the craft group. It was nice to hear all their lovely comments.

Condolences have been coming in from our quilting that Pam was a founding member of. All very sweet and all say how talented and generous she was

The dog walk was bitter this afternoon. It took me half an hour to recover as I had worn the wrong gloves. Totally inadequate. I saw the kingfisher which was a highlight. I thought about putting this into b&w but decided it looked cold as it is
