Going It, Not So Alone

Senior Day

I don't know if I'll ever be able to say enough about Senior Day this year. I'm the captain and only senior, so we dubbed this Saturday's match against SUNY Farmingdale, "Kim Day."
It's a tradition to honor our graduating seniors at our last in-season home match, and this one against Farmingdale was super important. The team signed this poster with messages of love, gave me a few gifts, flowers and a huge framed picture. They said the sweetest things about me and my years with the team, and promise I'd "always be a Panther." They're right. It would take me forever to tell you what this team meant to me. But I will never forget them and everything we've done together.

We played a long, tough match, and unfortunately lost, so we'll play #1 Mount Saint Mary's College again in the semi-finals on Wednesday.
