Down in The Forest...

Something stirred.


It was The Boss and friend “M” who were in Zealandia which is a wonderful forest reserve in Wellington which has a protected environment and is the home of a lot of NZ native birds. It was a wonderful outing with someone who really knew about photographing these feathered guys and The Boss certainly learnt a thing or 23 in the process and had a great fun time doing it.
Photographing native birds in their environment takes practise and he needs a lot more of it so I am sure we will return often. 
Small Stuffed Dogs were allowed in as long as we didn’t have fleas.
The Parrot is of course a Kaka and the lizard a Tuatara but He hasn’t a clue about the cute little brown guy so feel free to inform…..
It’s a wonderful place and needs a day plus to explore all the trails and feeding stations.
