Are you sure you haven't brought food?

I photographed these sheep and lambs this morning on my way down to the nature reserve. It was still minus one degree, but there was such a bitter wind it felt at least minus eight. These tough lambs weren't even sheltering in the hedge bottom (not that this particular farmer has left many!). By the time I returned, 3 hours later, they were bathing in bright sunshine and the temperature had shot up to about three degrees...and I could stop worrying!
