Mono Monday : Exotic.......

.......but is it?  I'm not really sure whether this counts as exotic.  It is a Chinese painting set that was given to me by one of the boys we used to host from the International School in Taunton.  So far I have never used it.  You make your own "ink" by scraping the block onto the "palette" I think and then you have these lovely elegant brushes.  Perhaps someone can enlighten me and maybe I should give it a go.

I've put the colour version in as an extra because it is so nice.
