Great harvest! 52 cucumbers!

Well, if they had been normal-sized cucumbers it would have been quite a harvest. Every year I like to grow something new. This year it was Mexican gherkins. I was expecting cucumbers about the size of a tomato. Instead I waited in vain for these tiny cucumbers to become larger. The tomato is about half the size of most of the tomatoes I grew this year. The cucumber is a normal-sized one. If I had read properly the label that came with the cucumber seedling I would have known the plant would produce "grape-sized" cucumbers. Too bad they don't even have a nice flavour. Ok well, maybe I will pick something a bit more exciting next year.
