Car hire pain

As ever, it is easier to look over a hire car in the harsh light of day rather than in the twilight of a hotel car park. This horror awaited me when I did a morning inspection. Luckily - and as is not always the case - a quick e-mail fired off and the damage was declared not mine.
On then to Heathrow and the pleasure of 11 hours in a metal box defying gravity - hurrah.
