Snow scene

It was still pretty bleak this morning when I took this shot, with high winds blowing snow around the fields.   By this afternoon the sun had come out and everywhere was rapidly thawing so we headed out then for a stroll along the estuary.  See extras.  

Several bird watchers were out as large numbers of golden plover and lapwings had been spotted as well as a spoonbill.  We didn't see the spoonbill though.

It will be good to be able to get around normally tomorrow although it was great to have seen the area transformed by snow.
