Sad day ;-(

Well people say you never know what a day will bring and it’s true. We wake up in the morning and we have no idea what we are about to face.

We were woke on Saturday morning at 8.20am because my husbands daddy’s home help rang to say his dad didn’t answer the door to her. He hasn’t been unwell and I’d seen him the night before so I thought perhaps worse case I’d arrive and he would be unwell. Nothing prepared me for finding him dead on his bedroom floor and it has left us devastated. No warning, no explanation, just heartbreaking. The kids have lost their lovely Granda, I’ve lost my father-in-law and my husband has lost his daddy and best friend ;-(
