The sun didn't last long!
After our lovely sunny afternoon yesterday I was hoping that spring might have sprung....but sadly no not yet! Apart from a few brief (very brief!) sunny interludes this morning the day has been grey, drizzly and windy with a decided chill in the air. So another blip of yet another Sabinillas roundabout. I think this one is probably my least favourite, but it was the first one I noticed when we first visited a year ago. We call it the "cube" roundabout for obvious reasons. I usually find sculptures like these quite appealing as they change with relation to each other depending on where you view them from. I took several pictures, but this one I felt was best just because the cubes showed up more against the green foliage, rather than fading into the background when viewed against a white building. They do show up better when the sun shines.
I think one of the reasons that I am not so keen on this particular roundabout is that the cubes could have done with being larger and maybe even a more prominent colour. They just aren't dynamic enough to have impact.
