Monkey Girl

Apparently the being a big girl is not an entirely permanent state of affairs. Today she informed me "Mummy, I'm a big girl - I got a sticker for tidying up at nursery - but I'm still your baby girl big girl".

She fell asleep in my arms at the tea table at 6pm last night, and slept til nearly 6am. In the course of the night, she put her jammies on, took her jammies off, and came into my bed.

In a slight fail, I learnt this morning that Katie now likes mini gingerbread men (or at least the bottom half, which are covered in chocolate and sprinkles). She didnt like them last year. So now I have to share the box. Sigh.
