Just before the doorbell rang

Tonight was my turn to host the BBC (Blokes Book Club); at the apartment. S helped greatly by buying the provisions, which were praised by the blokes, despite there being no cocktail sausages. Known in New Zealand as Cheerios, they are a staple food at children's parties. And most of our book club nights. 

Just before they arrived and rang through on the intercom for me to open the front door of the building, the sunset became irresistible.
