You can almost see the past

When Mum and Dad bought this house in the 1960s it was partly for the view to the hills.  Its not often I remember this but snow on the hills and a bit of light in the right places brings it to mind.

As children my sister and I would sledge down the hill outside the back gate - there were no trees to bump into then or for many years after.

It all changed very slowly but its much more noticeable for anyone returning after years away.
