Finally ...

... after battling with GPs for 4 years we got a diagnosis of Alzheimer's for my father-in-law. In some ways not good news of course, but at least we have something to work with going forward. Immediately he is able to try some medication which may help. The NHS Mental Health team have been really good, but it has taken a long time, and a lot of perseverance from us, to get the local GPs to accept that something was not right.
