The Old Forge (Tuesday 20th March 2018)

It was my intention today to nip over to Avebury for the Spring Equinox, but I was busy and lost track of time. I didn't get further than just outside the door to snap these in the garden. They are a bit crinkled from having been under the snow for a couple of days but they are proper English primroses and a true sign of Spring.
I got some coloured varieties at the nursery the other day and they will be planted in any day now.
