Titchy Flower

I have no idea what this is, I saw it in the front garden  this afternoon but only remembered to pick it this evening, in the dark with my torch!   I've been trying out this gizmo that I got at the Photography Show, a lighting system called Adaptalux (I should have been buying a new tripod!), we even met the very young inventor.
