yardwork

Today was supposed to be my day off but then a big truck dumped 1.5 cubic yard of dirt on my driveway. So I rolled up my sleeves and carted the stuff into my backyard to spread out along the borders. Also four high raised beds had to be filled and four 6 foot tall bamboo plants needed to be transferred into larger pots. Then I plopped onto the nearest garden chair and asked myself what was that all about.
I was too tired to eat dinner but sooo happy that the work was done. One thing less to worry about. And from now on it is all fun I have been told. Gardening is a new adventure for me and I think I am hooked:)
