On Harrogate Beach

Here in Harrogate we are probably 60+ miles from the nearest bit of coastline. So it was quite a surprise to find this man sculpting animals in sand.

He clearly wheels a suitcase full of sand and sets up his private beach on the street (in the rain!); but, judging by the number of people dropping cash into his hat, he will be a few pounds better off by tea-time.
