Cottoneaster

This hedge separates our drive from next door and even without the sun was 'glowing' with colour today, even so I was surprised when I saw the close up detail in the photograph.

Orange, yellow and green leaves and deep red berries make it look a bit like an exotic cake mix!

Definitely a seasonal blip.
