The Guardian today gives Silverdale and our Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as one of the six best country walks for the Easter Break.

Mm. When they all come off the M6 at J.35 they will find that the small car park Gait Barrows National Nature Reserve is closed because of major works. The car park at RSPB Leighton Moss Reserve will be completely full by 10a.m. And there is really no parking at all in Silverdale village.
