Swans at sunset

Dropped S off at the home of one of her fellow poets this evening, for a rehearsal. They have called themselves Central Auckland Poets, and have produced a joint collection of their poetry, which they are launching on Sunday at a reading in the garden where they have gathered this evening. Very impressed with what they are doing and hoping that there will be more than family and friends attending on Sunday afternoon.

After leaving her in Sandringham, I drove across to Western Springs Lake, where the tents are being erected for the big Pasifika festival which is there this weekend. I had the pleasure of a quiet walk around the lake with only a few other people around. The sun set while I was there.
