A Carole's road

As a very young child I declared my love for roads where the trees meet overhead so from then on throughout the family these picturesque roads have been called "Carole's roads". Last year at a family wedding I met up with a younger cousin now living in New York who introduced me to his American wife with the words "you know Carole's roads? Well THIS is Carole !".

When I looked at this photo at home I couldn't work out how the sun had been shining on the side of the road. I'd taken it on my way home from work and it was dusk. Then I realised. Car headlights !
