Nesting Heron

This Heron is nesting by the lake at Warwick university. A local walk thats great in wet conditions. This is the first image taken with my new camera brought at the photography show. This image wouldn't have been possible with   my Nikon lens. I went to the show to compare lens, camera etc. so its early days and teething problems. But very pleased with the zoom abilities.
