Solitary Crocus

Today’s picture is of a solitary white crocus, which is the only one, so far, that has appeared in one of the window boxes.
 
I spent the morning working and did all my “Friday jobs”. I have to go to an Open University staff conference on Saturday in Milton Keynes, so I do not plan to do any work tomorrow.  
 
The “Mower People” who are situated on the Scotsdale’s Garden Centre site collected the ride-on mower this morning for servicing and repairs. My husband usually does this, but currently, with his new knees, he is not able to kneel down.
 
The sun has been shining and although not particularly warm it was lovely to see the sunshine.
