Bierpinsel

This striking but sadly disused building is very much the highlight of our first afternoon in Berlin. We arrived in sleet and a temperature of 2C: for once we've travelled to somewhere with worse weather than we left behind in Scotland! Fortunately it's supposed to be dry tomorrow as A is begin a tourist and I do a day's work at the research lab with whom my student and I both have research/consultancy contracts. The signed paperwork is in my bag, together with a nice bottle of duty-free malt I'll give the boss tomorrow to say thanks for putting the work our way.
