No. 58.

Such a joy to hear the song of the skylark.
Soaring high up in the blue sky.
The little lambs cuddling up to each other
as they enjoy the warmth of the Spring sunshine.
What a pleasure to be out walking in the countryside on a day like this.

The first walk we have done for a few weeks, and it was nice to catch up with all our rambling friends.
Glad it was an easy 6.5 mile walk from Spofforth, near Wetherby, to Kirby Overblow.
No hills, but still very muddy.

Called in at M& S on the way home for their £10 meal for two, as I haven’t done a proper shop yet since we came home.
So a nice easy meal tonight.
Beef Bourguignon Roast vegetables. My mashed potatoes.
Followed by Tarte au Citron with my defrosted raspberries and a bottle of red wine.
We will certainly be ready for it !
