The Viking Heath

In the way things are designated and described, the authority in charge of Scotland’s landscape has named this type of Orkney land as ‘Viking Heath’.

The forecaster played a blinder today - predicated rain and high wind delivered a benign, flat calm day with blinks of sunny sky.  The one prediction for sure is that no-one from the Met Office will ever receive a P45.
