Back in the pool, 1km swum.
Same distance as December 22nd just before the pneumonia struck.
I've now concluded that I should get a couple of lessons. My using a climbers shoulders to drag my carcass through the water technique will only go so far I feel. I've also invested in a nose clip.

After swimming in Penrith (thank you for all the comments that proved there are other weirdos out there I'm not weird, I much prefer this pool) pooch and I went for a wander along Ullswater's shore. The extra doesn't quite capture how impressive the waves were for a lake, neither of us were tempted to get in.
