The Enemy

Today, Mrs SoL and I decided to attack the giant plant in the middle of the new vegetable patch. I can’t plant anything there until it is gone. so, after digging around it, then tying a rope to the car, we managed to create two neat wheel slip marks on the lawn. The plant was unmoved. More digging, the odd swear word, cups of tea, and then doubling of the rope, it finally came loose. Much to my frustration, it just happened to be Mrs SoL’s turn to drive the car. I will never hear the end of it.
