Today's weather was so different from the last few days! Considerably cooler, overcast and with the occasional spot of rain. The light was also much poorer and it looked like I wasn't going to find anything good to blip, especially as all the insects seemed to have gone back into hiding.

Just when I was going to take the dog that I was walking this afternoon back to the sanctuary, I spotted the Heron walking across the grass toward the small pond. He let me take this shot before he flew to the other (much darker) side so I owe him a big thank you for this blip.
