1972 - 2012

Can you imagine how smart these looked in 1972? I had this luggage to leave home and go and do residential child care. That little vanity case came home with me each week for my two days off. I think at that time I even had a red coat too! Then they took me to teacher training, and on to my first teaching job in Nottinghamshire.

But now it is time to say goodbye. They got packed with all the silly bits of clothing that I kept over the years. The best one was a ball gown that I wore to an evening do when I was on teaching practice. It looked so shabby now that I thought it better to remember it when it was so pretty.
