Gull Nesting Season

We've come to that time of the year when I tend to document the progress of the gull nesting season. At the moment the gulls are only just pairing off and establishing nesting sites but there is no evidence of nest building. Gulls pair off for life and are apparently monogamous. I am attracted to this type of photography as it gives me a chance to test my action shooting skills. The aerial shots of the gulls landing are fairly easy but it is harder to maintain focus if they are flying high in the sky. My top left shot shows just how flexible their wings are, curving right round.
