There is still snow on Hellisheiði, although not as much as I would have expected after hearing about the horrible storms that have been raging during the winter.
We managed to charge a little at the dealer where we bought the normal 10A charging cable, so the car can be charged immediately at home. We stayed in Reykjavík the whole day but before leaving I got a bit of a shock, because the fast charging station we always used with the previous car did not have the European connector and also it needs a key which is connected to one's credit card. Lucky again, the slower charing stations for staff were open, so we could get enough to get home again. Not good planning on my part!
