Autumn

After catching up with some records this morning I went for a wander along the valley with my new toy . As the leaves are turning and falling very quickly now, I wanted to get down there before the spectacle was over for another year. I couldn't believe how much easier the new tripod head made things; so easy to adjust, to get the scene I wanted instead of fiddling about for ages. As there was little wind and the light was poor, I was able to use a low ISO, high F-stop and long exposure to get depth of field. I''m never sure whether I like this milky water effect but glad I know how to achieve it now.
