Tower of Terror?

Only a passing resemblance to the real Tower of Terror of course (Anyone else been on that? Its scary!).

This building in Glasgow city centre has intrigued me before. Its got some really funky statues and reliefs on it and covered in chicken wire. Several of the windows are broken and it looks entirely borded up.

Do any of our Glaswegian blippers know what it is? Looks pretty ominous to me.
