The Navy's day

A nice morning for the Navy's open day, the predicted rain held off till early afternoon. They were lucky. 
Not so lucky was the cricket at Eden Park, nor David's friend's wedding. Since it was at a vineyard near Kumeu I drove him out there....and the rain was torrential. A great shame.  
I had thought of continuing this evening out to Muriwai since I was most of the way there already, but with a quick look at the weather forecast and rain radar it was clear that there was no point.
