The canal at Apsley

Hannah was working today so we met up with our good friend Jenni for lunch in one of our favourite hostelries beside the canal. She braved the M1 on a Friday to drive down to see us, which was fine on the way down but a nightmare in the afternoon heading back. Her efforts were greatly appreciated. We had a fine catch up, making plans for our USA trip which will take in her son's wedding in LA at the end of September. Very exciting!
