Arabic coffee

Lightly spiced, and a very pale colour. Two little cups after dinner but they definitely didn’t stop me from sleeping.

More hard work with kids today. One parent came in to save us from his child. Told us he’d tried everything. We suggested more food, and more care. And we’ll be phoning parents about the other troublemakers / bullies. They so quickly get very aggressive.

So my lovely colleague / friend who has just recently arrived suggested we go out for dinner. We went to the souk and enjoyed a huge plate of chicken and rice Kuwaiti style. We wandered, admired a traditional music performance, window shopped with jaws dropped in the gold souk and tasted and bought dates. N speaks Arabic so she asked a few questions about all the different dates on offer.
