Avebury & Grandchildren Visit
I must say a big "Thank You" for all the hearts on yesterday's blip which astonishingly took it to Blipfoto top spot within hours! How do you follow that?
Today was a drive to Frome, Somerset to visit youngest son Mat, wife Fiona, and the two oldest grandchildren.... Isaac and Isabella (see extra). The Easter Eggs were opened early as they'll have more next weekend!
The other extra is of Malaysian daughter-in-law, Fiona. She's an ex-model and used to posing as you can see!
The main blipfoto is an aerial photograph of Avebury Village and stones which I took after a detour on the way. It was overcast and raining there!
Avebury is a Neolithic henge monument containing three stone circles, around the village of Avebury in Wiltshire, in southwest England. One of the best known prehistoric sites in Britain, it contains the largest megalithic stone circle in the world. It is both a tourist attraction and a place of religious importance to contemporary pagans.
